What happens when our community comes together for Toledo Public Schools students? This year, it meant raising $76,000 to help strengthen educational opportunities for the next generation.

On August 17, supporters of the Toledo Public Schools Foundation gathered at Stone Oak Country Club for the annual TPS 1849 Open. With beautiful weather, a full day on the course, and a community committed to supporting public education, this year’s outing was one to remember. Most importantly, together we raised $76,000 in support of the Toledo Public Schools Foundation and our work serving more than 19,000 TPS students.

Every golfer who joined us, every organization that sponsored the outing, and every community partner who supported the event helped make that possible. Photos By: © Scott W. Grau

Thank You to Our Sponsors and Supporters

An event like the 1849 Open would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors. To every organization that sponsored this year’s outing: thank you for investing in Toledo’s students and demonstrating your commitment to the future of our community.

We are equally grateful to the golfers, teams, volunteers, partners, and friends of the Foundation who spent the day with us at Stone Oak Country Club. Whether you sponsored the event, joined us on the course, volunteered your time, or helped make the day possible behind the scenes, you played a part in its success.

Thank you for helping us build forward for Toledo’s next generation. Interested in supporting the Toledo Public Schools Foundation? Learn more about our work and the ways you can help strengthen educational opportunities for TPS students here.
