The Toledo Public Schools Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization that bridges the gap between what schools have and what students truly need. Through private support and financial contributions, we fund scholarships, classroom innovation, and opportunities that help students succeed. At a time when public funding is stretched, our work is more important than ever—and every investment directly impacts students and the future of our community.

Celebrating the Class of 2026

Scholarship season is one of our favorite times of the year at the TPS Foundation. This year, we are proud to award more than 70 scholarships to graduating Toledo Public Schools seniors—helping students take the next step toward their futures.

The TPS Foundation champions quality education for Toledo’s youth, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed. We address challenges brought by budget cuts and funding shortfalls, dedicated to uplifting the educational landscape. Our mission is to support every student and teacher, fostering a community where education thrives.

What We Do

We bridge the funding gap in public education, enhancing the education of over 20,000 students in Toledo. Our initiatives range from academic programs and scholarships to community empowerment and innovative grants. We bring resources into the district so all TPS children have the tools they need to succeed. By investing in education, we’re investing in Toledo’s future.
