Elevating the future for Toledo’s next generation

Success in life doesn’t always come easy. It takes a lot of hard work and quality education for us to get there.

When you look back on your career, could you have achieved the success you have without quality teachers and classroom materials, before & after school programs and possibly even scholarships? In our youth, we were fortunate to have significant opportunities. As adults, we know ALL students and teachers deserve the same — especially after a pandemic that has magnified the need for quality public education.

Toledo Public Schools has a long history of helping students learn and grow through important educational programming and activities that are integral to students’ success. Some of these aren’t always guaranteed with newer cuts in public education funding and local property tax caps creating challenges that cannot be resolved with traditional funding. These funding shortfalls are not going to go away on their own.

The Toledo Public Schools Foundation actively seeks support to help elevate critical programs for the children of Toledo. We have been successful in bringing resources into the district so that ALL Toledo Public Schools children have the tools they need to succeed, and we will continue to do so. We invest in real children, real dreams and real opportunities, not just because we choose to, but because we must, as quality public education is key to a vital and successful community.

The Foundation works hard to raise funds in support the many educational initiatives for our 21,500 students. By elevating the education of our students, we elevate the entire Toledo community. With the many magnet and STEM programs available, we can help set our students on a positive course for the future. We know our bold fundraising initiatives demand a high level of engagement and support from throughout the community – and that’s where you come in. The Foundation cannot do this without you!

We are hoping you’ll consider making a generous donation to the TPS Foundation as a way to show how important Toledo Public Schools is to you and your commitment to quality public education.
