Hockey truly is a sport that brings a community together. On Sunday, April 16 2023 the Second Annual Toledo Memorial Classic was held at the Huntington Center in Downtown Toledo. The proceeds from this event go toward the TPD Fallen Officer Memorial Scholarship Fund which is held with the TPS Foundation. Huge thank you to the Toledo Walleye for hosting us!
Special thanks to the Toledo Police Department & Columbus Division of Police for all of your support in helping make a difference. All Officers donate their time and money off-duty to support these charity games.
THANK YOU to everyone for helping to make the Second Annual Toledo Memorial Classic a success – Volunteers, supporters, donors, players, families and friends of the departments. On the ice, win or lose, we all play for the same team in our mission. The game ended in a Columbus Police Department Win of 3-2 over Toledo Police Department Hockey Team. Keep the trophy safe as it will be back in Toledo in 2024!
