The Toledo Public Schools Foundation is honored to announce an extraordinary $1 million gift from Dr. Tom and Betsy Brady to support the creation of the Brady Educator & Social Services Academy, opening at the TPS Scott Park Campus in the 2026–27 school year.

This generous investment in the future of education will provide students with a direct path into teaching and public service careers. In collaboration with The University of Toledo and Owens Community College, the Academy will offer innovative curriculum, access to college credits, and real-world experiences designed to ignite a passion for education and social impact among TPS students.

The announcement was made at the TPS Aspiring Young Educators Conference, where more than 100 middle school students gathered to explore careers in teaching. The moment was the perfect backdrop to celebrate Dr. and Mrs. Brady—two lifelong champions of education—whose leadership and generosity are helping to build a pipeline of future teachers, counselors, social workers, and leaders.
