As we round out our Dream Bigger Series for the 2020-2021 school year, Owens Corning is offering 3 Summer Internships to Toledo Public School students who are currently enrolled in the AVID program at Bowsher High School.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Cumulative 2.5 GPA
- A letter of recommendation from AVID teacher
- Parent/guardian consent via signature
- Completed application and interview with Owens Corning team
- Reliable transportation to and from the internship
- Must be able to complete a 5-10 hours for 4 – 7 week internship at WHQ in Toledo, OH
INTERNSHIP BENEFITS

- Shadow and engage with various functional leaders across the business
- Gain a professional mentor
- Get compensation for your contribution via a paid experience
- Tentative start date of June 7, 2021
The Dream Bigger Series, that Owens Corning has offered the Sophomores and the now Juniors of Bowsher has truly been incredible. They have provided insights on general life and career skills, such as resume building and interviewing preparation. They shared with the students, through a series of virtual calls, real life experiences and how if they dream big, they can one day achieve those dreams!
