Some scholarship applications can be grueling and time consuming, but so worth it!
We wanted to provide you with some scholarship application tips to help make the process smoother!
Read Directions – Complete the full application and follow directions or requirements.
Be sure to read all directions and what is required prior to starting the application. some applications allow you to save your work and come back and work on the application at a later date.
Proof Read – Make sure someone proof reads and edits the scholarship application before submitting.
Proofreading is the final stage of checking a text before it is submitted. Having someone else review may catch an error you didn’t see while proof reading yourself.
Meet Deadlines – Send materials in before the deadline date.
Meeting deadlines is critical! Get ahead of the game and submit your application early!
Letters of Recommendation – Letters of recommendation should be fresh versions, not copies.
Not only should you have fresh versions of letters of recommendations, but you should also be sure to ask those who you wish to submit letters on your behalf well before the scholarship deadline.
